The Portland-Hillsboro-Vancouver metro area has kept its place as the country’s 23rd largest population center.

We’re number 22!

According to the Nielsen New TV Market Universe, Portland is now the nation’s 22nd largest TV market with 1.2 million TV-viewing homes, right behind St. Louis and right ahead of Pittsburgh. Eugene was the 2nd largest market in Oregon at 121st place and little old Bend dropped to 193rd.
