Beyond Bizarre Tour with Portland Walking Tours

underground

This is one for the bucket list we have to say! As described online, this is a ghost hunting 101 tour for skeptics and believers alike. We have an all ages tour as well as an adults only one. Best of all, you will actually get to carry around a EMF detector which detects if there are spirits around. We highly suggest taking pictures. Who knows, you might even capture something out of the ordinary! Tours are selling out fast, so book your tickets now!

Scary Movie with Laurelhurst Theater

Laurelhurst

One of the best things about Halloween is watching Halloween movies! This theater provides some of the classics and so much more. Not only was it built in 1923 and is full of charm, it was one of the first Art Deco movie theaters of its time. With each month focused on a particular theme October is Fright Film Month. Go binge because nothing beats $4 for a general admission ticket!

Fashion Show with Costume Shops

So you can’t decide what Halloween costume to wear on the big day? Why not take some buddies and hit the town with a pumpkin spice latte and have mini fashion shows at costume shops in town. Whether you’re looking for vintage, scary, celebrity impersonation, or something your imagination dreamed up, we are sure you’ll find it at one of these stores!

FrightTown at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum

No Halloween is complete without going to a haunted house, and this one tops the chart! In fact, the venue where it’s held is actually a part of the National Register of Historic Places which means you might run into a ghost or two, and we’re not referring to the actors. With 3 haunted attractions in one location, you’re scoring a deal!
