Stroll Down Flavor Street
New Food Cart Tour Wows
Portland's Taste Buds

You’ve seen them on hit reality TV shows like "The Great Food Truck Race," Adam Richaman's “Man Vs. Food” and Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" - and you’ve seen them on the streets.

Now it's time to get in on the action - and give your taste buds a treat.

Portland Walking Tours debuts "Flavor Street," its newest food-infused tour of delicacies, on May 1, every Friday and Saturday year-round at 1 PM. This two-hour tour includes samples of some of the city's best cuisine as well as the fascinating story behind their sudden phenomenal success.

Food Cart Tour Explores International Variety"With over 700 food carts to choose from in Portland, most people don't have time to investigate which ones are deals and which ones are duds," says Chief Imbibing Officer David Schargel. "Our Resident Experts will guide you to the ones you'll love most."

Known by various names including "food carts," "food trucks," "street chefs," and more, the various vendors offer a dazzling array of international and down-home cuisines, from Czech to Chinese and Andouille to Ziti.

We expect this tour to sell out fast, so buy your tickets now!

Underground Portland:
Twice the vice!

Portland Walking Tours' most popular tour, "Underground Portland," is back with a vengeance.

This in-depth exposé of the naughty, bawdy, corrupt and shady activities in Portland's not-so-proud past has always been an eye-opener to locals and visitors alike. But now it's even better.

Over the winter we researched more of the legends of Portland's shady past. The result is a tour that's even spicier than before, fully loaded with what you want most: sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll.

Underground Tour - More vice

It's also still chock-full of tales of crime, corruption and politics, and of course, the truth behind the legends of the so-called "Shanghai Tunnels."

Find out more about this new, improved tour on the Portland Walking Tours website.

With tours timed to begin on Memorial Day weekend, just in time for the height of Rose Festival celebrations, wedding season and the unofficial start of summer, "Roses Gone Wild!" adds the perfect blend of mystery, intrigue, outdoorsiness and romance to entertain  everyone from the toughest of the "Rose Bro's" to the secret anthomaniac.

Adding to the excitement, the warmer winter of 2011-2012 ought to yield an earlier, more robust bloom than 2011, promising a spectacular show of color, variety and delicate aroma.
