Portland Walking Tours

A New Leash on Life

May 1st, 2009

Always have to leave a party early to run home to feed and let the dog out? Next time, bring your furry friend with you. There are quite a number of dog-friendly venues in town that will not make you feel like you are running in circles:

  • Enjoy man’s 2 best friends – a pitcher of beer and your dog – on the patio at the Lucky Labrador Brew Pub.
  • He wakes you every morning, so why not start breakfast together after your walk to the Tin Shed & Garden Cafe. He can have his own breakfast too, so there’s no need for a doggie bag.
  • Feeling stuck in the dog house, let your pup run like the wind in the huge-off leash area in Gabriel Park.
  • It reigns cats and dogs at the Hotel Vintage Plaza. People and pets enjoy special complimentary amenities, such as massages, treats, food bowls, mat, bed, and pickup bags. There’s even a fashion collar, but that’s only for the dog.
  • Don’t chase your tail, instead grab new toys at Furever Pets. This pet supply store has everything your pet needs, including the hot new chew toy of the season.
  • A “Best of Portland” Walking Tour! How can we forget to mention that, of all of our tours, this is the one that is pet-friendly.

Just as long as you both keep barking to a minimum, you and your dog can have a fun night out in the town. Now that’s quite fetching.
