According to Men’s Health magazine, a new study ranking the 100 Fattest U.S. Cities has Portland near the bottom of the list. Portland ranked 94th; therefore, it’s one of the leanest cities in the country.
or the ranking, the magazine calculated the percentage of people who are overweight and diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. They also looked at physical fitness levels, the amount of money spent on junk food and how many people ate fast food nine or more times in one month.
Corpus Christi topped this list, followed by Charleston, W.Va.; El Paso, Texas; Dallas; Memphis; Kansas City, Mo.; San Antonio; Baltimore and Birmingham, Al. San Francisco was at the bottom as the leanest city.
